Joana’s leveling guide is indeed the most popular and well known World of Warcraft leveling guide. It is only available for Horde characters however. Nonetheless, this guide tries to focus on one single thing. It focuses only on Horde characters leveling from one to eighty and it does it very well indeed.

The fact that it is frequently updated is extremely beneficial, since World of Warcraft is constantly changing. If you buy an official strategy guide from the shop in a normal book format, you will find that it will be out of date as soon as the next major content patch arrives. This makes it a complete waste of money and all you have is a nice shiny book with lots of pictures of little practical use.

However, any updates to Joana’s leveling guides are also completely free so once you buy the product, you will not need spend any more money in the future. This can work out a lot cheaper than many of the other competing guides.

Also, the guide is not attempt, as many guides do, to cover just about every aspect of the game. This guide is just about leveling and only relevant to Horde characters. If you are Alliance, then you can find other guides for them.

It is only for Horde characters and does not focus on any instances or endgame material. However, this is a bonus in many ways, since it focuses on one single thing and it does it very well. Rather than trying to be the Jack of all trades, this leveling guide is the master of leveling for Horde characters.

While leveling is definitely easier than it used to be with the recent patches, it still takes a lot of time, especially once you reach a level seventy. However, this can be sped up enormously by using this leveling guide. Also, you don’t have to continuously minimize the game to review it.

The guide comes with a built in add-on so you won’t ever need to minimize the game. You simply follow away point arrow around in the game and it will tell you where to pick up quests, where to go for them and where to complete them. It will also ignore any quests which are considered to slow you down and are not optimised for leveling quickly.
