Increase Your Skill Fast With A WoW A WoW Cataclysm Mining Guide
Written by Jurinsthea Smith.
World of Warcraft, or WoW, entered the video game scene in 2004. Since its release, it has grown to a community of over 12 million players, with people enjoying the rich virtual world of Azeroth. The game’s producer, Blizzard, has even released a new expansion called Cataclysm that has introduced lots of changes to the world, and is sure to only increase the game’s appeal. A WoW Cataclysm Mining guide will give the information to increase your skills and gold.
The game offers skills known as professions to players. These professions give players the chance to create their own items and earn gold by selling things they’ve collected or crafted. One such profession is called Mining, which allows players to mine virtual metals. These metals are required components for item crafted in other professions like Engineering, Jewelcrafting, and Blacksmithing. Mining is also a fantastic way to earn money in the game, and a guide can help you fill your wallet more quickly.
WoW Cataclysm has deposits players can mine scattered all over its virtual world. These deposits are randomly generated, and once a player has mined one, it disappears. Each kind of metal deposit also requires that players have a certain level of skill if they want to mine it
Here’s where a guide can help. It can make using your profession a lot easier by letting you know the best areas to find the metals you’re looking for. You’ll also be able to find out what level your profession needs to be so you can effectively mine the metal you need.
Areas to mine have changed with the release of the WoW Cataclysm expansion. With whole sections of the world being changed by the expansion, you’ll need help knowing the best new areas to mine. Some areas have even switched sides, with what once was a Horde area becoming a place only Alliance players can venture.
A guide can also give you the opportunity to make gold a lot faster than you could on your own. Certain professions need the metals to make other items, so metals are worth quite a bit. Luckily, miners can sell the metals they’ve collected in auction houses. Once an auction is submitted, other players will place bids on the metal you’re selling. When you know where to look for metals, you can mine a lot more easily, and have more to sell at the auction house.
WoW is played by millions of people all over the world. And just like real life, money makes the world of Azeroth go ’round. Your Mining profession helps to fuel the in-game economy, and a good guide can give you a leg up in money-making potential. You’ll know everywhere you need to go to get the metals you seek, and you’ll be able to increase your skill level in the easiest way you can. Get hold of a comprehensive Wow Cataclysm Mining guide to start making gold and improving your skills.

WoW Warlock Guide – The Might of Shadow and Fire
Written by David Willard.
Warlocks are a powerful, unusual caster class in the World of Warcraft game, who make use of a variety of damage over time (DoT) spells to kill their enemies, keep opponents at arm’s length with Fear and Death Coil (a terror-inducing instant spell that also inflicts damage and heals the warlock), and control a variety of summoned demons, making them a pet class along with hunters and death knights. They can only wear cloth armor, but make up for their fragility with the power of their dark magic and the aid of their demons, as most WoW warlock guides describe.
Anyone who has played this class or read a WoW warlock guide will know that neither tanking nor healing are the forte of the warlock. They are a damage per second class, though some talent specializations are quite adept at self-healing. Warlocks are also able to convert health to mana, a completely unique ability in World of Warcraft.
Consulting a WoW warlock guide will tell you that the main utility warlocks provide to their group or team outside combat consists of making healthstones and soulstones. Healthstones are conjured, consumable items which heal a specific amount of damage instantly when they are used, and can be handed out to everyone in your character’s group. Soulstones allow a character to active them and self-resurrect after they are killed. These can only be given to one group member at a time. It is usually the healer who is “soulstoned” during an instance, dungeon, or endgame raid.
For those who want to powerlevel their character from a low level to 85, or who enjoy PvP, Demonology is a frequently selected talent spec. Specs with strong pets tend to level faster and survive PvE combat more easily, and demonology both strengthens the warlock’s normal suite of pets, and provides them with a unique pet as their signature move – the Felguard. This muscle-bound demon deals a high amount of damage and also generates plenty of threat, “tanking” for the warlock as well as helping to down their opponents faster with its powerful melee attacks.
The 31 point talent of demonology allows these warlocks to transform into a demon, with higher durability and several new abilities, for 30 seconds. This is used mostly in PvP, where the Felguard is also effective, though affliction warlocks, this WoW warlock guide notes, are better at PvP.
If you prefer hurling spells to standing back and letting your demon do most of the work, Destruction is probably the warlock spec for you. Described accurately in most WoW warlock guides as the highest damage spec for endgame raids due to direct damage potential, these warlocks can also hold their own in leveling but are somewhat weaker in PvP. Soul Fire, Conflagrate, and the like form the core of their spell priority. Imps are the preferred pets for instances for extra damage.
Affliction warlocks, this WoW warlock guide notes, are good for PvP but somewhat weaker for dungeons. They specialize in boosted damage over time spells, including at least two unique to the talent specialization. PvP affliction warlocks need to stay mobile and rely on applying DoTs quickly, then evading until their opponent withers and dies in the grip of their insidious spells.
PvP is the situation where affliction warlocks shine, according to this and other WoW warlock guides. Their enlarged range of DoTs, including Haunt and Unstable Affliction, as well as their improved “drain” spells, make them formidable foes who can leave a trail of rapidly-dying foes in their wake as long as they apply DoTs fast and stay mobile.

WoW Rogue Guide – Sneaking, Stabbing, and Swashbuckling
Written by David Willard.
Wielding daggers or swords and clad in leather armor, slipping through the shadows in search of an undefended back, rogues are a subtle class of World of Warcraft with a very high melee damage potential. Their ability to go into Stealth, which is mimicked only by the cat form of druids, their special skills with poisons, their capacity to Sap opponents and thus keep them stunned, immobile, and out of action for up to a minute, and many other skills mark them as one of the most unique classes in the game, as any WoW rogue guide will inform you. Rogues are damage dealers, pure and simple. Their role in any dungeon or battleground is DPS (damage per second), and they have absolutely no healing or tanking ability at all. They rely on surprise attacks for some of their highest damage potential, and must often use Vanish to escape if they cannot kill foes quickly, since most specs are ill-suited to a long, drawn-out brawl.

They rely on surprise attacks for some of their highest damage potential, and must often use Vanish to escape if they cannot kill foes quickly, since most specs are ill-suited to a long, drawn-out brawl.
The utility functions of a rogue include crowd control, lockpicking, and scouting. In PvE situations, rogues can provide single target crowd control with their Sap ability, which can immobilize one of a group of monsters for much of a fight. Lockpicking to complete dungeons is much less common than it once was, but treasure chests and strongboxes may still need to be opened thus for looting.
This WoW rogue guide notes that rogues have a lot of utility in PvP as well. Besides their ability to backstab, Ambush, or otherwise put enemy spellcasters and healers out of action, since their powers work exceptionally well on cloth-armored targets, they can also serve as “booby traps” to intercept flag carriers, or to sneak past guards to capture an unwatched resource node. Sprinting with the flag in Warsong Gulch or Eye of the Storm has turned the tide in many a game.
Combat spec is the premier leveling spec, an idea this WoW rogue guide backs because of the large number of experienced players who have found this to be the case. This is the only spec of rogue which benefits more from using two swords, axes, or maces than from using two daggers, which should be the case with the other two specs. Due to a large number of energy-regenerating talents, combat rogues can maintain their damage over a whole fight, making them more “swashbucklers” than “ambushers”.
Combat rogues have higher survivability and can also maintain a consistently high damage rate throughout a fight. Subtlety opens with a spike of damage, then does less damage, as this WoW rogue guide describes; Assassination opens weakly but builds towards a crescendo of poison damage; but combat starts out with moderately high damage and can maintain it for the full course of a battle.
Subtlety rogues are a damage-dealing spec best suited to PvP, thanks to their extremely high damage spike due to Ambush and the talents which enhance it. Subtlety rogues must wield two daggers in order to be effective and use their talents to any effect, and have many skills which tend to “front load” their damage. The usual technique is to use Premeditation to add two Combo Points to an opponent, Shadowstep behind them, Ambush them (adding three more Combo Points) and immediately make a 5-point Eviscerate, which is enough to kill lower-health foes almost instantly.
Assassination is the PvE damage spec, though this WoW rogue guide does not recommend it for the fastest leveling or the most effective PvP. For best effect, these rogues should use two daggers. The main hand dagger should be as slow as possible, and coated in Instant Poison, which will cause large amounts of damage when the signature move, Mutilate, is used. The offhand dagger should be very fast, and coated in Deadly Poison – build five stacks of this poison on the foe, then use Envenom.
