I’ve always been a WoW PvP player and considered raiding and all the PvE content a waste of time and a waste of fun. But after becoming gladiators my friends lost interest in the game and left World of Warcraft for good. Find good at least 2 good tanks for your raid. If they have a dual spec is even better since they can switch their role in the raid depending on the encounter. To be sure you have good tanks in your raid, you can look them a few days before you assemble the raid.

Everyone you invite must have good knowledge of their toons and the of the strategies for each boss for the instance you’re about to do. To be sure of that, always ask for their achievements.

Consumables are very important for a raid so tell your raiding team to get their flasks and foods before starting. Also remind the players to have their WoW raiding addons updated. This will certainly reduce the individual failing rate during a boss encounter.

Use each and every cooldown at the right time and on the right spot. Some cooldowns, like the Bloodlust or Heroism, are very important for most of the encounters in the game, so use them wisely.

Have at least an idea of the tactics your raid is going to apply for each encounter. If you don’t know what to do, a single wrong step might wipe the whole raid. Luckily, this guide has this aspect covered so I had nothing to worry about in any end game raid.
